Documenting Construction Progress
The Pomp
For 194 weeks, Multi-Media Works has been documenting construction progress at The Pomp in Pompano Beach with drone video and ground photography. This major mixed-use city within a city is just one example of construction that will progress nonstop through the summer come storm or shine. The show will go on until completion, which has at least another year. Meanwhile, we continue to track weekly progress. You can view this 194 drone week HERE.
McNab Rd. Streetscape

Since September 2025, we have been documenting construction progress along McNab Rd. in Pompano Beach. Work in dismantling and rebuilding the bridge will be ongoing this summer followed by upgrading sidewalks and landscaping. Completion is estimated in late Fall/Winter. This is a sample of the fascinating drone stills of the bridge rebuild work.

We believe every construction project is a major production that deserves to be documented, showcased and that has a story to tell. Each project is built with permanence as a goal and designed with a vision that affects entire communities. For local cities undergoing transformations and for the Primes awarded to build the vision, a professional video or progress movie is an important marketing/PR tool.
Discuss the construction video and photography options with Diane Singh, Marketing Manager, at diane@multimw.com or cell: 724-272-7910.
Summer Events Progress
NAWIC

We attended and photographed the June luncheon meeting of the National Association of Women in Construction/Fort Lauderdale Chapter with presenter Nugyen Tran, CRA Director of Pompano Beach. He gave a fascinating presentation about the new and exciting downtown planned for the city. Wait till you see the renderings! Tran’s PowerPoint presentation featured visuals of the major mixed use 10-15- year reconstruction plan focused on a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly downtown community functioning day and night for an exciting urban environment. Everyone was wowed! You can view some photos HERE.
Fine Food & Wine Festival (FFWF)

Falling on Kentucky Derby Day, the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce held its always popular annual FFWF, this time with a Derby theme. Some of the best food and wine tasting was offered at 40 booths presented by local restaurants along with a variety of impressive auction items from paintings to vacations. We photographed the event so you can have a taste, so to speak, of it HERE.
Upcoming
June 24: Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce Guiding Light Awards & Board Installation

In Memoriam: A Personal Note

Our Father’s Day newsletter is dedicated to my husband, Ivan Robert Ladizinsky, who passed away on March 12 in Trustbridge Hospice, Boca Raton, FL.
For 49 years we were mostly together, either dating, living together, married, divorced, friends, roommates and finally re-married. Friendship and love endured over the years regardless of how our fluid partnership was defined. I was his devoted wife and caregiver during his final four years, committed to keeping him comfortable and minimizing his suffering from medical complications. He never complained, was just appreciative and sweet-tempered till his last breath.
Ivan was a broadcast pioneer with a distinguished career in radio, television and promotion/advertising. He was known in the industry as a creative genius with a dry sense of humor and a dynamic presence. He enjoyed decades-long friendships with college buddies, colleagues and the people he hired who advanced in their careers with his guidance. He loved and took great pride in his four children from two previous marriages and two grandchildren–all living on the west coast or Hawaii.
I wrote a tribute to Ivan focusing on his remarkable career that few knew about because he didn’t discuss it. You can read the tribute HERE. I will always feel his loss.
